This is the GIS layer that contains the official sample plots for our UFORE sample. All plots are buffered to 37.2 feet for our 1/10 acre plot. Use this layer when downloading photos and creating image library.
:: Master Plot List (Excel file, login required)
This file lists all of the UFORE sample plots. It was derived from the Official Sample Plots layer. Includes who we sent letters to, who is assigned the plot, etc.
:: Parcel data for sample plots (Excel file, login required)
Note that UFORE plots 14, 26, 52, 67 do not occur in this file. They are in highway / road rights of way and do not have tax parcel data. You will find on the photos that some of them do include trees along the side of the road and, therefore, must be measured. Use this information when tracking down ownership.

This file contains: plot information that everyone compiled, team plot assignments (pending review), plots which require property owner permission.
Question from Hannah: Would it be worth it to upload the plot jpgs to the course website or the wiki? Or is access from gmail sufficient? george 1 Feb - huge tedious task to upload and not sure what we'd need them for. One possibility would be to zip all the JPGs into one file and upload that zip - that might be doable and worthwhile - still a lot of dogwork - any volunteers??
